Dubai: The first ship in the fleet of the Indonesian shipping company Kaiso Line recently anchored at the port of Jebel Ali. the MV Atlantic pioneer left Jakarta on November 26 and reached the shores of the United Arab Emirates on December 11.
It is also Kaiso Line’s first direct service from Indonesia to ports on the subcontinent and the Persian Gulf. The service will call at Jakarta, Nhava Sheva in India, Karachi, Jebel Ali and Dammam, providing direct connectivity to and from Indonesia, with Jebel Ali port being the transshipment hub. The shipping company is expected to deploy more ships next year to achieve a weekly departure from each port.
