Sonam Kapoor’s husband reacts after shipping company accused him of falsifying invoices to evade taxes and duties

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor’s husband, Anand Ahuja, has reportedly been ousted by international shipping company MyUS, for using falsified invoices, an offer that was apparently used to avoid paying taxes and customs duties.

In January 2022, Sonam showed her support for her husband after he tweeted against the shipping company.

Earlier this month, in response to Anand Ahuja’s complaint on Twitter, the company mentioned that the problem was not with their services but with the documents Sonam’s husband provided.

In a series of tweets, the company claimed the enclosed invoices had up to 90% less value mentioned than what he paid for the goods.

The tweet read: “The doctored invoices show prices up to 90% lower than what he paid for the goods. Although it is our policy to do our best to resolve any customer issues, we have a duty to respect regulatory compliance.”

“In very simple terms, we have a legal obligation to provide accurate information when sending international shipments. MyUS and Mr. Ahuja are subject to international export rules, and we intend to follow them. “, he added.

However, after the shipping company‘s tweets went viral, Anand Ahuja took to Twitter on February 12 to allege that MyUS refused to validate PDF receipts and bank statements and accused them of trying to overcharge him. and hold his goods for a long time.

Anand also said he moved all of his posts and closed his account.
